I'm starting this today. You take a picture everyday for a year of anything really. Did something important happen that day? What did you do that day? Did you meet a new person? etc. It's a chance for you to have something to look back on and remember what you've done this past year. Don't forget to occasionally take a picture of yourself, you can see how much you've changed over the last year.
I'm also using it as a chance to help me better myself with my photography.
