We didn't do to much today. Had to go to my 6 week check-up, which went well. Still a no-go on tying my tubes, so I had to go with an IUD to hold me over for the next 5 years. Fingers crossed there are no surprises in our future.

Sick Mama
Quick update: Spent my entire night and today running between the bathroom and my bed. My stomach hates me and refuses to even keep water down. ): Thank goodness for my hubby taking care of the kids today, sure my house is a wreck, but at least this sick mama got to rest. I honestly don't think I could have handled my mommy duties today. Thanks Hubby!

Random ramblings:
It seems like we're all going to be sick around here forever. Ugh. It started with Kenny and Kennedy and as much as I tried to keep her away from Keegan and his things he still managed to get sick. Now here we are a week later and it's starting to hit me. I thought I was going to get through this without getting sick, boo. Hopefully we all recover soon because I don't feel like doing ANYTHING!

Family Time!
So yesterday we played outside all day! I swear Kennedy is my little dare devil! She is fearless and will try anything! She would stand at the top of the slide and prepare to dive down in! She is too cute to watch! So here's a little video of her sliding full speed!
Here's another little video we captured yesterday of Keegan smiling.

Lazy day

Just another lazy day here in the Ski household. Ady was really tired today. I had to wake her up from her nap, it was going on 3 hours. Potty training was about half and half today. I hate that she doesn't always tell me that she has to go. I wish there was a way to better help her understand to tell Mommy when she needs to go. Keegan was really awake today and I love it! I hate the newborn sleep all the time phase. It's nice to see him more awake and playful.

Our newest addition
After laying in bed for hours watching lovely infomercials we suddenly heard a loud pop @ 2:34am my water broke, complete with the "movie gush!" We were on our way to the hospital. We arrived there around 3:30 am and waited to get checked into a room. I really wasn't feeling too many contractions and the ones I did feel were very faint. Once checked into our room they came in to check me and offered the epidural, but I decided to put it off for awhile until I couldn't stand the pain. So they checked me and I was 6cm and 90% effaced. They wanted to let me labor for awhile and said they would be back in 2 hours to check my progress. When the pain became untolerable we called the nurse down to get the epidural. The anastesiologist came up right away. He got the site ready and placed the epidural in, just as he was about to put the test medicine in to make sure he got it in right I felt the urge to push. So they layed me back and the nurse checked and said little mans head was right there and she yelled for the doctor. A few pushes later our little man arrived healthy and happy and beautiful from head to toe! B/c delivery went so fast his face and arms were bruised but a few days later that went away. Posted by K.
